The second daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Hajiya Fatima, will be getting married to former managing director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Malam Gimba Yau Kumo today Friday, October 28. Their Islamic wedding will take place in Katsina state, her father’s home state. Fatima is one of the president’s children from his first wife, Safinatu Muhammadu Buhari.





But what many are not aware is that Fatima will become the 4th wife to the 57-year-old. Under the Islamic tradition a man is allowed to marry up to four wives, but that doesn’t seem to concern one of the senior wives, Gimba Aishatu. Gimba doesn’t look thrilled with welcoming another wife into the family who happens to be the daughter of the president. The light skinned lady took to her Instagram page to post series of pictures showing off herself with her husband and more comparing herself and Buhari’s daughter in what looks like a ‘shade’. Fatima who is president Buhari’s second daughter, got married to her fiance, Malam Gimba Yau kumo (former MD Federal Mortgage Bank) at her father’s home in Daura, Katsina state yesterday, Friday, October 28.

Fatimah became the fourth wife of Gimba, in a wedding ceremony attended by major dignitaries and traditional rulers in the country. Various brands of assorted cars and jeeps belonging to invitees flooded the town, causing high vehicular traffic. Earlier yesterday, Friday, October 28, one of the senior wives of Gimba took to her Instagram page to post series of pictures showing off herself with her husband and more comparing herself and Buhari’s daughter in what looks like a ‘shade’.

Fatima Buhari is one of President Buhari’s daughter from his first wife, Safinatu Muhammadu Buhari. She is 43-years-old and she married her husband, 57-year-old Mallam Ya’u Gimba Kumo recently.

They got married at in Daura, Katsina on October 28. Pictures have since been released but below is the first video:

Miss Anambra video: Chidinma Okeke must not be killed – HURIWA

The Inspector General of Police Mr. Ibrahim Kpodum Idris has been called upon to intervene in the raging controversy surrounding the genuineness, circumstances and the individuals that led to the leakage of an alleged lesbian sex tape of the winner of Miss Anambra 2015, Miss Chidinma Okeke.

Okeke is currently embroiled in a lesbian sex tape scandal, which has since gone viral on the internet, which shows her on a lesbian act with Ada,who is reportedly one of her close friends and happens to be her personal assistant and also the 3rd runner up at the queen of democracy 2014.

The National Coordinator of the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, in a statement issued on Friday, requested that the country’s policing institution must not stand by and allow alleged blackmailers have a field day, even as the rights group asked for measures to safeguard the life of the embattled Miss Anambra 2015.HURIWA also dismissed as hasty and totally unacceptable, the decision of the organizers of the Miss Anambra Beauty pageant to hurriedly announce the dethronement of Miss Okeke as the reigning Miss Anambra beauty queen even before the law enforcement authorities could conclusively verify the authenticity or otherwise of the so-called lesbianism sex tape and the motive for the leakage It affirmed that the Jungle justice meted out on the young Nigerian girl on the basis of an alleged sex tape that has not being forensically investigated and conclusively verified and the entire gamut of the ulterior motivation for the leakage uncovered, is completely antithetical to the principle of rule of law as enshrined in section 36 (5) of the Nigerian Constitution which states “Every person who is charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed to be innocent until he is proved guilty; Provided that nothing in this section shall invalidate any law by reason only that the law imposes upon any such person the burden of proving particular facts.”

The rights group expressed trepidation at the reported decision of Miss Okeke to stay away from a pre-planned media briefing for fear of her life since she alleged a plot to eliminate her if she discloses the underlying facts behind the entire controversial sex tape.

HURIWA called on Governor Willie Obiano as the Chief Security Officer of Anambra State to also take measures to prevent any attempt at silencing the embattled beauty queen.It noted that a statement signed by the Chairman, Chief Executive of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, organizers of the pageant, Nze Uche Nworah disowned the queen for her action in the video , saying that the pageant was set up to maintain high moral standard and to empower young ladies from the state.

The rights group further averred; “We use this medium to urge the Inspector General of police to personally step into this matter of Miss Anambra 2015 sex tape scandal by First and foremost deploying the best forensic investigators to conduct transparent, open and an acceptable investigation with a view to unraveling the person and circumstances behind the leakage of the sex tape and the reported threats to the life of Miss Anambra 2015 winner- Miss Chidinma Okeke.”

The organizers of the Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant, Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, has released a statement following the controversy trailing the much publicized lesbian sex tape of the crowned winner of Miss Anambra 2015 competition, Chidinma Okeke.

The statement by the ABS signed by its management on Thursday, condemned in clear terms, the alleged act and disassociated itself from the saga.

The statement reads: “The attention of the management of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, organisers of the Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant has been drawn to a video with lurid contents purportedly showing former Miss Anambra, Miss Chidinma Okeke (Miss Anambra 2015).

“We wish to make the following clarifications –

“The said Miss Chidinma Okeke who is allegedly linked to the lurid content in circulation has served-out her term as Miss Anambra 2015 and handed over the crown in line with the terms and conditions of The Miss Anambra pageant.

“We condemn in clear terms any amoral behaviour/ conduct as suggested by the alleged lurid content in circulation and do not condone such.

“It is on record that The Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant has been a platform to empower Anambra women and celebrate our rich culture and heritage.

“Winners of the pageant are bound to contracts to be of good conduct and moral behaviour and to uphold/maintain the honour in their position as queen

“Winners of the pageant also contract to refrain from any personal relationship that could appear to hinder their ability to perform the duties of their office as queen and role model and we do not expect any less.

“We therefore wish to dissociate The Miss Anambra pageant from any discussions on the said allegations.

“We feel sufficiently perturbed by the mere reference already made to the pageant and hereby state that we are in no way connected to the controversy.

“We apologize to the government and good people of Anambra state, our sponsors, supporters, friends and all those associated with the Miss Anambra project for the embarrassment the mere reference to the pageant in the controversy may have caused; whilst reassuring of the good intentions of the Miss Anambra pageant franchise,” the statement added.

According to a post on her Facebook wall, Miss Chidinma said that she had been warned not to go to the venue or risk being assassinated.

“Considering the need to make the world know the truth about the trending scandal, and what we have been going through before then and now, I decided to hold World Press conference at the NUJ Press Centre, Awka today.

“But from the moment I made public this intention, I have been under siege of threats by my blackmailers and traducers.

“They are seriously threatening to shoot me at the press conference if I ever open my mouth to say the real truth about the ugly episode. “Since I have no protection and if I die now the truth would be buried forever, it’s my intension to sacrifice myself to save not just myself but other girls and other upcoming pageant by letting the world know the truth and what we go through.”

Controversies and mixed reactions have continued to trail the much publicized lesbian sex tape of the crowned winner of Miss Anambra 2015 competition, Chidinma Okeke, from Orumba North.

Ms Okeke is currently entangled in a lesbian sex tape scandal, in a video which has since gone viral on the internet where she was seen having a ‘cozy time’ with her female sex partner, who unconfirmed sources simply identified as Ada.

The video shows her on a lesbian act with Ada, who is reportedly one of her close friends and happens to be her personal assistant and also the 3rd runner up at the queen of democracy, 2014.

Ada was seen sucking her nipples, while Ms Okeke handled a tuber of cucumber, which she used gently to thrust in and out of her private part.

Although the beauty queen has come out to dissociate herself from the scandal, concerned Nigerians on the social media have dragged her to the mud, calling her a disgrace to the entire womanhood, and others, saying she did nothing wrong.

Ms Okeke took to her Instagram page to say she was not the one in the video.

According to her, the video was photo shopped and her face was super-imposed on the existing pictures and hence, should be disregarded.

The statement reads:

“My attention has been drawn to a concocted photograph/ video being circulated in the social media wherein my face was superimposed on an existing picture of persons engaging amorous conduct through the art of photo shopping.

“This act is perpetrated by hodlums who are out to blackmail me or tarnish my image and promising career by presenting me in bad light. I wish to say that the said image is certainly not mine by any stretch of imagination.

“Meanwhile, I have referred the matter to my lawyer for possible prosecution of the culprits and civil claim. Please be advised to discountenance the said photograph/ video and regard it as the handiwork of detractors. Thank you.”“I am a highly responsible person who was brought up in a family with impeccable reputation. I can therefore not subscribe to such act how much more engage in same.

Dethroned Miss Anambra 2015; embattled Chidinma Okeke yesterday refused to come up for her scheduled press conference in what is turning out to be twisted story line, as the messy saga of her lesbian sex video continues to rage.

The troubled former Beauty queen cited her reason for the ‘no show’ at the press conference, on the allegation that her blackmailer has continued to stalk her.

Chidinma Okeke said her blackmailer made a last minute call to her in a phone conversation and threatened that if she shows up for the press conference and make any statement, she will be shot.

This was gotten from her post on Facebook few hours after the press conference was schedule to begin.

All means of getting to her has continued to prove abortive so far.

Information reaching the press who were at NUJ center indicates there is a third girl who is on the run after sending the video to a guy due to her carelessness. The incident is now open for the law to take its full course on her.

Lagos state govt to employ 1000 graduates as bus conductors, puts them on N50k salary

Lagos state Ministry of Transportation in conjunction with the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, plans to employ 1000 graduates as bus conductors in the state. President of BCAN, Comrade Israel Ade Adeshola said their association and the state government is working towards making the Bus Conducting profession one for only trained bus conductors and also make it more lucrative and attractive.
In an interview with Vanguard, Adeshola said 

"Presently Lagos state government through the Lagos State Drivers Institute, LASDRI is training and accrediting conductors in the state, adding that after the training the graduands would be employed as Bus Conductors and would be on the payroll of the government with a salary worth of N50,000 per month. The objective is to make the job of bus conducting attractive, respected and dignified as obtainable globally”.
